PARIS, 2014

These small paintings on plywood were made during a residency at the Cite International des Arts in Paris. The Power Institute studio was located on the fourth floor with windows facing the river. I enjoyed working with a painting resting on my knees, alongside a filter screen of plane trees coming into leaf during spring and early summer.
