BIRDSEYE GLASS PANELS, 1997 & 2016
Before I began to experiment with painting on glass, most of the paintings were made with sequences of transparent colour overlaid on white gessoed grounds where the space between colour marks contributed equally to image formation.
Adjacent colours on these glass discs were intensified with multiple transparent colours in overlap and no clear gaps.
