PAINTINGS 2000-PRESENT

These images and the notes accompanying them, share experiences of making paintings 

about colour and perception that a curious and critical viewer might look for. The shapes and colours are abstract in-so-far as they do not illustrate things that existed before them, while organic influences contribute to their making. I acknowledge that perception cannot be separated from the body’s inherent connection with nature, and that seeing begins with spatial colour.
