STRANGE ATTRACTORS, 2015

When colour and shape sensations lead analysis, questions arise as to how those observations can be made visible as images for sharing.

While ‘pure’ pigment colours are identified by their chemical consistency and number codes, in direct experience, colours are not static to our senses. In affect, each viewing of a painting will appear to vary in chromatic intensity and spatial function. This opens up a field of exploration for image making and visual inquiry where absolutes continue to dissolve.
