STREAMING SERIES, 2011-2013
The Streaming paintings were influenced by watching strands of foam circling in a small pool below a waterfall. I was seeing moving shapes that invite comparison with forces of nature that can’t usually be seen directly, except through their impact. At an energetic level, I’m interested in connections amongst clusters of shapes, both irregular and to an extent self-similar.
