SKYGLASS, 2003
I spent a lot of time seeking ways to respond to the characteristics of transparent float glass with added colours.
Here, transparent blue and opaque white glass pigments were layered in pentagonal formations. The colours were kiln-fired separately for transparent, textural and opaque surfaces to capture varieties of light fall.
