LIQUID LIGHT: RED, 2004

Colour fragments bonded in directional networks, shift in view according to focus at different levels of light. It matters to me that colour formations and their balance of hues do not depend on fixed light conditions.

I enjoy working with water-based paints on a receptive surface, often with unpredictable results. Overlapping colours can lift and enhance or flatten and suppress the composition with each additional hue. This approach to making an image escapes all formulas.
